The Problem
With a dynamic billing process that included variable holiday monitoring, billing for the number of dispatches, and late fee calculations, Accounting Users spent hours creating and updating over 350 invoices each month in order to ensure billing was accurate.
The Solution
We needed to establish a process to track what holidays were monitored, ensure there were dispatch records in the system in order to bill accordingly, and enforce late fees based on whether accounts were past due, based on the specific terms that were set with the customer. Once the process was outlined, the billing process became automated, while enabling accounting users to oversee the process as opposed to being buried within it.
